In an event characterized by grandeur, King Mohammed VI, known as Amir Al-Mouminine, was accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, and Prince Moulay Ahmed as they presided over the ceremony of allegiance at the Place du Mechouar of the Royal Palace of Tetouan on a Monday afternoon. The ceremony held a significant purpose, commemorating the 24th anniversary of the Sovereign's accession to the Throne of His illustrious Ancestors.


At the commencement of this auspicious gathering, Abdelouafi Laftit, the Minister of the Interior, together with the walis and governors of the wilayas, prefectures, and provinces of the Kingdom, alongside the walis and governors of the Ministry's Central Administration, took a solemn pledge of allegiance to Amir Al-Mouminine.


Following the pledge, the Sovereign gracefully acknowledged the delegations representing various regions, prefectures, and provinces of the Kingdom. These representatives had come with the noble intention of renewing their allegiance to Amir Al-Mouminine.


The ceremony, with its regal splendor, served as a true reflection of the authentic Moroccan people and their unwavering devotion to the glorious Alaouite Throne. It culminated with a reverberating five-gun salute, and the Sovereign responded with warm gestures, acknowledging the cheers from the representatives of the different regions of the Kingdom.


This allegiance ceremony, which signifies the climax of the jubilations marking the 24th anniversary of King Mohammed VI's enthronement, holds a profound meaning. It provides the representatives of the twelve regions of the Kingdom an opportunity to reaffirm their unwavering loyalty to the Augustus persona of the Sovereign. It also symbolizes the profound and inseparable bond between the Throne and the People, an unyielding connection that is deeply ingrained in the history of this nation. This enduring bond has always constituted the bedrock of the Moroccan Nation, representing the supreme expression of its strength, solidarity, and endurance.


The momentous event witnessed the distinguished presence of the Head of Government, the presidents of the two Chambers of Parliament, HM the King's advisors, members of the government, presidents of constitutional bodies, and esteemed senior officers of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces. In addition, several eminent civil and military personalities graced the ceremony with their esteemed presence.
