Temperatures will experience a significant increase from Saturday to Thursday in the South East, the South, the plains of Tadla, Souss, the southern provinces, the Western plains, the Saïss, inside the Gharb and the Rif, announced the National Directorate of Meteorology (DMN).

Temperatures will change Saturday between 40 and 44 C in Zagora, Tata, Assa-Zag, within Aousserd and Oued Ed-Dahab, Kasba Tadla, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Saleh and Taroudant, said the DMN in a special weather report. From Sunday to Tuesday, the thermometer reaches values ​​between 44 and 48 C in Assa-Zag, Es-Smara, the interior of Laayoune, Boujdour, and Oued Ed-Dahab Aousserd.

During the same period, the temperatures oscillate between 40 and 44 C in Sidi Ifni, Guelmim, west of Laayoune, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, Aousserd, Tata, Zagora, Taroudant, Agadir, Inezgane, Agadir Aït Melloul, Chichester, Benguerir, Marrakech, within Essaouira, Beni Mellal, Tadla, Kalaat Sraghna, Sidi Slimane, Moulay Yacoub, Meknes, Fez, Taounate and Sidi Kacem.

The statement notes that despite a slight drop in temperatures, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will remain warm at least until Thursday, especially on inland plains west of the Atlas (38/42 C) inside Souss (38/42 C) and Southern provinces (40/44 C).
